Perry County Healthy Food Picks for Seniors | February 21, 2024
New for the spring of 2024, Perry County Healthy Picks for Seniors will provide eligible Perry County adults age 60 and older $75 in coupons that can be redeemed for local beef, poultry, eggs, pork, dairy, and produce from March through June 15, 2024.
Perry County farmers who wish to participate must complete and sign the Participating Farmer Agreement and a W-9 by Friday, March 1, 2024.
Application sign-ups will take place on a first-come, first-served basis, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., March 5-6, at the following locations:

Perry County Opportunity Center (JFS), 5250 State Route 37, New Lexington, OH

Perry County Senior Center, 520 First Street, New Lexington, OH
For the onsite registration at both the Opportunity Center and Senior Center on March 5th & 6th, Perry County Transit is partnering to offer free rides to those residents who schedule their ride by March 1st directly with Transit at (740) 342-2810.
Once approved, applicants will receive $75 in coupons and a listing of participating farmers/locations where the coupons may be redeemed through June 1.
This program is made possible by a Health Aging grant to the Perry County Commissioners from the Ohio Department of Aging.
