Central State University Extension Taking Control of Diabetes | April 3 - May 22, 2023
The Diabetes Empowerment Education Program, also known as DEEP™, is a free educational series designed to help people with pre-diabetes, diabetes, relatives and caregivers gain a better understanding of diabetes self-care. Classes are FREE and take place every Monday, April 3 to May 22 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Perry County District Library - New Lexington, Ohio.

Winter Crisis Program Continues at HAPCAP | February 3, 2023
(GLOUSTER, OH) - The Winter Crisis Program at Hocking Athens Perry Community Action (HAPCAP) began on November 1, 2022. Residents of Hocking, Athens, and Perry Counties may schedule their appointments by calling (740) 868-1908. This program is designed to help households who are facing an emergency situation to maintain and/or restore electric or gas service. This program also provides bulk fuel (propane, wood, coal, fuel oil, kerosene) for eligible households.
