United Way in Perry County
United for Kids – United Way found out that the federal Government was not paying for the food program anymore so we approached New Lexington Schools about partnering with them. Last year we contributed $18,000 and almost 7,000 meals for New Lexington Students so they wouldn’t go hungry over the weekend. We are partnering again in 2019.
EFSP – Emergency food and Shelter Program – The United Way of MPM submitted a grant on behalf of Perry County and Perry County was awarded over $20,000 for more food
