"Coffee with some Commissioners"
7:30 am, @ Dodson's on Broadway, New Lex.
This month will feature Mr. Glenn Crippen with Hocking Athens Perry, Community Action Program. (HAPCAP) Glen will be explaining and discussing the Community Development Block Grant program. (CDBG)
HAPCAP manages the CDBG program for the Perry County Commissioners and through this program we are able to bring in hundreds of thousands of dollars in grant funds to Perry County every year for improvement projects throughout the County, villages and townships.
The CDBG program is often misunderstood, so this presents a great opportunity for potential recipients to learn more about the program. Glen has spent many years with HAPCAP and working on projects in Perry County and will be offering some great insight.
If you are still uncomfortable in a group setting for a breakfast, I understand. Don’t come, we will see you when you are comfortable.
The “Coffee with Some Commissioner” breakfast sets a standard for monthly discussion by people throughout the county covering topics as broad as our population. We are happy to be able to work with Cheryl Dodson to hold this breakfast.
Coffee with Commissioners is open to everyone, to share in the positive exchange of information. We look forward to listening to our community partners regarding all the positive projects, events and accomplishments happening throughout Perry County. Let’s continue to take this hour and highlight all the positive work around the County.
