2018 Drinking Water Consumer Confidence Report now available for Northern Perry County Water Thornville (#1) and Burr Oak (#2)

The Northern Perry County Water #1 and #2 water systems has prepared the following report to provide information to you, the consumer on the quality of our drinking water. This report was required as part of the Safe Drinking Water Act Re-authorization of 1996 and was required to be delivered to the consumer by May 22, 2019. Included within this report are general health information, water quality test results, and water system contacts.

Comprehensive Falls Prevention Home Assessment Project

Perry County Ohio Job and Family Services Adult Protective Services has started a new program for adults 60 years and older who have or have had a fall related injury/accident. Adult Protective Services (APS) can go into the home and do a fall risk assessment and provide minor home modifications to make it safer. APS provide the risk assessment to the adult’s primary care physician so they can go over safety in the home as well.

Public Transit-Human Services Transportation Plan for Perry County Ohio

This plan is the Public Transit-Human Services Transportation Plan for Perry County Ohio. The plan was initially developed in 2014, updated and approved by ODOT in 2017 and is being updated annually in 2018. This plan fulfills the requirements of the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) under the Fixing America’s Surface Transportation (FAST) Act, signed into law as a reauthorization of surface transportation programs through Fiscal Year 2020. According to requirements of the FAST Act, locally developed coordinated public transit-human services transportation plans must be updated to reflect the changes established by the FAST Act legislation. The FAST Act applies new programs and rules for all Fiscal Year 2016 funds and authorizes transit programs for five (5) years.
