The Last Tuesday of the month, 9/27/22 will be the next Breakfast meeting, "Coffee with some Commissioners"

The Breakfast meeting will be held at Dodson’s on Broadway in New Lexington 7:30-8:30am.

Julie Paxton and others will be present to talk about the great work of the Community Foundation for Perry County and information regarding the community grants that are available. The following is the link for the grant application https://appalachianohio.org/grow/funds/community-funds/cfpc/

There will be a total of $25,000 awarded, in increments of $500-$5000 across five areas essential to generating and sustaining transformative change.

The Community Foundation for Perry County is dedicated to improving the quality of life for the Perry community, both now and for generations to come.
Established in 2012 by past and present residents, the goal of CFPC is to establish permanent funds and resources to make a direct and lasting difference for Perry County. CFPC is an additional avenue of support for residents to give locally, ensuring Perry County resources benefit our community and citizens.

The Community Foundation for Perry County (CFPC), in partnership with the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio (FAO), invites nonprofit and public organizations seeking funding for a project or program serving Perry County to apply for the 2022 grant round.

CFPC and FAO’s I’m a Child of Appalachia® Fund will provide grants to projects or programs benefitting residents of Perry County across five areas essential to generating and sustaining transformative change: Arts & Culture; Community & Economic Development; Education; Environmental Stewardship; and Health & Human Services.

Projects should increase quality of life, create access to opportunities or implement a solution to a need in Perry County. Up to $25,000 is available to award. Requests are encouraged to be between $500-$5,000, though requests over $5,000 may be considered based on impact.

Applications will be accepted until 11:59pm, Tuesday, September 27th.

As you can see the grant deadline is September 27th, the day of the breakfast. If you are interested in more information and the application process visit their web site.
This is a great program, and we hope to see organizations within Perry County take advantage of this opportunity.

The "Coffee with some Commissioners" breakfast is open to everyone, and we look forward to hearing from other agencies and organizations around the county each month in this exchange of positive information.

As always, we will take time for everyone in attendance to give updates.

I look forward to seeing everyone next Tuesday, September 27th @ Dodson's on Broadway, New Lexington.
