Breakfast this month will feature Joyce Barrett Executive Director of Heritage Ohio.
As Ohio’s official historic preservation and Main Street organization, Heritage Ohio fosters economic development and sustainability through preservation of historic buildings, revitalization of downtowns and neighborhood commercial districts, and promotion of cultural tourism.
Joyce will share basic information about how historic preservation is working to improve our economy and our communities. She will also share the latest news about the 10th annual Appalachia Heritage Luncheon scheduled for December 8th at the Statehouse.
If you are still uncomfortable in a group setting for a breakfast due to covid, I understand. Don’t come, we will see you when you are comfortable.
The “Coffee with Some Commissioner” breakfast is a monthly discussion by people throughout the county covering topics as board as our population. As commissioners we feel it is important to listen to what is happening around the County. And this helps us accomplish that, just a little better.
Coffee with Commissioners is open to everyone, to share in the positive exchange of information. We look forward to listening to our community partners regarding all the positive projects events and accomplishments happening throughout Perry County. There are also times when you may think you need to “complain” to your commissioners. This is not that time! If you have a “complaint” about anything Perry County, we are always open to listening. But not at this breakfast. Let’s continue to take this hour and highlight all the positive work around the County.
Plan to attend and share your thoughts during the second half of the meeting, as we take time for those in attendance to provide updates and share information.
