Good Deeds Program

Perry County Recorder Jackie Hoover, Perry County Probate-Juvenile Judge Luann Cooperrider and volunteer attorneys are offering a deed review program called the “Good Deeds Program,” which helps Perry County residents better understand probate issues regarding property transfers.

WHAT: The program is a volunteer deed review process for Perry County homeowners. It is a county-wide effort to help county residents: (1) identify whether the form of their present deed will require transfer through the Probate Court upon death; and (2) consider less expensive and less time-consuming alternatives to probate transfer.

WHEN: Tuesday, April 4, 2017, beginning at 4 p.m.

WHERE: Perry County Courthouse, Courtroom #2 (on the ground floor) and the Perry County Recorder’s Office (1st floor).
