New Lexington Reservoir

Owned and maintained by the village of New Lexington, OH 43764. Palmer Rd. off State Route 13 just north of New Lexington.

About New Lexington Reservoir


Rules at the reservoir are as follows:

  • No swimming
  • No firearms
  • No gasoline motor boats
  • No hunting
  • Fishing is permitted during daylight hours with a valid Ohio fishing permit
  • Night fishing is permitted if a special permit is obtained from the Village Administration Office. The night fishing permit is free and is valid for the year. You must provide a photo ID and valid Ohio fishing license to obtain the night fishing permit.


The New Lexington Reservoir is owned and maintained by the Village of New Lexington, OH.

There are several access points to the reservoir along Palmer Road off of St Rt 13 North of New Lexington. The following are photos of the first access point. The rest are within 1/2 mile or so.
